AMANDA MUNTON
Mezzo Soprano & Owner of Munton Voice Studio
Amanda received an MM in Vocal Performance from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a BA in Vocal Performance and Pedagogy from Plymouth State University. She has studied with Carla Lefevre, Kathleen Arecchi, James McDonald and Jenni Cook. Her performing experience includes roles in opera and musical theatre with PSU theater department, UNCG Opera, UNCG Musical Theatre, UNCG touring opera, and worked with Greensboro Opera Company. Amanda is a frequent recitalist throughout New England and has additional performance experience as a recording artist for various composers and bands including the Grammy nominated Lamb of God, White Moth Black Butterfly, Rik Pfenninger, Red Cloud Revival, and Strands of Reason. Amanda is a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing and was selected as an intern for the 2009 NATS Intern Program. Her current and former students have won and placed in annual NATS competitions, have been accepted to accredited music programs, such as Mannes School of Music, Boston Conservatory, Boston University, Frost School of Music at University of Miami, Roosevelt University, UCLA Music Singer/Songwriter Program, and are working as professional singers, recording artists, actors, choral directors and voice instructors throughout the world.
Munton Voice Studio is located in Stratham, NH. Students range in age, ability and musical interests.
